"Do something! Do More!"

Please tell me; How can hurting and killing children be a viewed as a solution ? To anything at all?

 How can Israel really lie so blatantly? And still insist that such a well organised military operation is plotted down on a map, all soldiers and those in the reserves called in, strategies agreed upon, weaponry hurdled together, the mere logistics of food and supplies in place and all this in three weeks and because Hamas didn't renew the truce deal Dec.17.? This gigantic army wiping out the Palestinian population in Gaza, for the most part only armed with old weapons, stones if at all. Civilians being attacked by the most sophisticated army in the world, is this the only solution/answer Israel can come up with? Remember! This invasion was preceded by months of Gaza being closed for all import of food, fuel medicine and aid. Israel is kicking at a people already at it's knees.... 

A major military operation that would have taken months to plan and set up for execution.... 

This is a link to 59 very disturbing pictures on Facebook, it's a private "family album" and all persons, dead, half-dead or barely living are tagged with their names... This is from the inside of Gaza, where no foreign reporters are allowed in by Israel

 Tonight on the Danish TV2; (Really not my favorite news programme!!)  An interview with a Norwegian Doctor, with such unbelievable sorrow and horror in his eyes, telling about how they operate in the hallways, wading in blood, people dyeing before they can be attended to, most of the wounds are in the head, abdomen and amputations of limbs; 40% of the victims are children.... This poor man, looked like he couldn't do this much longer, at his breaking point... No wonder, this is getting unbearable and well beyond my threshold of pain, and I am sitting here in Scandinavia;-  safe, warm, with electricity, water and food... - on my couch after having my loved ones for dinner!

And two days ago this text message ticked in on my cellphone from yet another Norwegian doctor; Mads Gilbert; (Translated from Norwegian)

"Thank you, for all your support. They have bombed the local market in Gaza city two hours ago. 80 wounded and 20 dead. They all arrived here in Shifa. Hades!!(Hell) We are wading through death, blood and amputated limbs. Loads of children, a pregnant woman. I've never experienced anything as horrible. Now we hear tanks. Pass it on. DO SOMETHING! DO MORE! We're now all living in the history-books..."

"It's getting on Christmas...They're cutting down trees..."

December is quick descending on us and the hubbub of it all!  I'll try and make it to the finish line of food ODs and whole forests of gift-wrapping paper accumulating on my living room floor... This will be the month of kind deeds and pious hopes of peace in the world, everyone stressed out about "The Great Gift-exchange day".  The day, when we might get things, we don't really need, bought with money, we don't really have. And in the true spirit of Xmas; We'll cross our fingers, while we file for bankruptcy in January..... But all this will depend totally on the price-ticket, you won in the greatest lottery of world; Where were you born and to whom? 

Try and imagine, just for a moment; You're sitting on the Spaceship ISS veranda, nursing a well earned Sun-downer;

(After having let a 100.000$ toolbox go into eternal orbit, along with all the other crap, left behind by the many astronauts before you, human as well as canine or even our cousin: The grinning chimp.)

 - When you look down on this beautiful blue planet this is what you'll see; 

Where there's no water, there most likely will be fires aka Violent conflicts aka Wars

 You'll see that most of Africa is now in flames, that Gaza and Israel have been at war since 1948, India have some reddish spots up north in Kashmir linked to the ones further down south in Mumbai, where they've just had a 3day siege, Afghanistan and her alliances is at war with the Taliban, Russia is forcibly invading most of their former provinces, Thailand is on the brink of civil war and then some, the "At war" list is practically endless!

And the Western world is still reeling from the worst finance crisis since the Great Depression in '29....  - The passage through the north pole is now doable for the very first time in our history, and in the Netherlands, they are being foresighted enough to build houses, able to withstand elevated sea-levels of 5 meters - (Some deny that there even is a global warming or say it's a conspiracy by the Norwegians?)

It feels like we all are having a ball on the Titanic and that very likely, an iceberg scenario will unfold before our knowing eyes! It's an given fact, that CO2 gasses are on a rampage and large pools of plastic, (the size of France, in fact) in mid ocean along with the rest of our intelligent polluting relationships will melt our ice, not only in the Whiskey Sour, but in the oceans surrounding us, before we're even remotely ready for the consequences... We will all be  preoccupied with the mad dash for the check-out counter, hoping it will help us to feed; Well,not the hungry, homeless or the needy out there - way out there... No, we're hoping, that we'll be able to feed our own insatiable hunger for the next materialistic fix in order to soothe our dying souls... This is while we're growing out of all proportions.....

 It has all been said before, and I'll be the first to sign on the dotted line, when given an opportunity to mortgage my home 110% ! And gee, do I want a brand new Credit card? You betcha! One that I've designed myself, with photos of a pouting, spoiled brat - but it's my brat, giving me the illusion; that the 10.000$ credit with its 33% interest is a cozy, homely thing! Yep, I'll gladly be the first of the lemmings, if it'll get me out of a fix right now, right this minute... I won't look back or ahead, no one does, not the politicians nor anyone else and certainly not me...! Instant gratification on "Borrowed money and time" is the name of the game, and you can't call me a party pooper, I'm a player too!

 - Give me a mothership of a SUV to navigate this labyrinth, or a plasma TV for watching endless shows of crime busting lawyers and pretty FBI gals with the bad guy in the microscope, doctors with screwed up sex lives or pornorized and anorexic teenager girls in fast edited music videos to make me feel safe, healthy and ready to have children with a bachelor from the cast of "Rose Cavalier"  while under the influence of Prozac.... To hell with tomorrow! And if the end is near; I'll be forever young....! 

In Denmark, we have edited Baby Jesus out of Christmas... Apparently he no longer belongs there! This is not a celebration of a birth in humble surroundings, a couple of thousand years ago... 

This is now, truly the feast of gluttony, no longer a sin, but a virtue. 

This is now, not a celebration of a beginning but the sound of funeral drums for the end.

This is now, the end of us, the enlightened ones, of the "peaceful and compassionate" human race, intent on wiping us selves and each other out and making damn sure that every living thing will go down with us ! We'll do this with every means possible! Be it in domestic homicide, violent gangs, random acts of cruelty and murder, legal/illegal warfare, ethnic cleansing or clandestine terrorist attacks... or just plain old ignorance!

Når kun fantasien sætter grænser !

Selvom jeg næppe er den eneste, som på nuværende tidspunkt er tæt på at være alvoligt træt og snart bliver fysisk syg, hvis jeg hører mere om 'De sataniske tegninger'! Er det dog ikke overraskende, at den mest læste artikel ligenu, kl møg om natten til skærtorsdag, er Osama Bin Ladens *soundbite*, hvor han 'tordner' imod de danske karikaturer! -

Den taler til frygten i mig, den nye fo[r]bi-gående tanke, som kommer et splitsekund hver gang, jeg står og venter på tog på Nørreport station f.eks.  - Er det nu ? 

Hvis vi med denne såkaldte ytringsfrihed, har gjort en del mennesker, om muligt, endnu mere faste i troen på, at Vesten's antiislamisme, igennem århundereder, nu behøver gengældelse, ja, så fik vi da mere ud af det end bare et par mistede milliarder på handelsbalancen? 

Eller hvad?

 Har vores ytringfrihed på noget tidspunkt virkelig været så truet, at det var nødvendigt at bevise sort på hvidt, hvad vi tror på ? Eller var det bare Flemming Rose's fantasifulde konspirationsteorier omsat til et lidt kikset forsøg på at være morsom? - En Karikatur er jo at være morsom på andres bekostning & svagheder (Se tegning/karikatur af Hr.Kierkegaard)

Er der en hel anden skjult dagsorden ? Er der kræfter i dette land, udover de åbenlyse, som DF og lillebror SIAD (Stop islamesringen af Dk) som gerne ser, at enhver integration mislykkes, at fronterne mellem 'Dem' og 'Os' bliver trukket hårdt op, at vores demokratiske spilleregler bliver sat ud af kraft og en udvidelse af PET's magtbeføjelser ?-

Er man på vej med nye love ?- 'Patriots act' ala USA's med hjælp fra Fogh's nye bedste ven; Bush - som jo er ekspert, med sin kortsigtede politik, i at skabe en fertil grobund for flere nye selvretfærdige fundamentale islamister/potentielle terrorister !

 Eller er jeg en pladderhumanist når jeg mener, at det var vores håneret, som reelt blev håndhævet, da tegningerne blev udgivet 1.gang. Blind tillid og ukritisk stillingtagen til PET og den danske regering den 2.?

Ord uden grænser

Det er ret sjovt, når div talemåder bliver blandet sammen og derefter danner ny billeder; "Han kom under anklagebænken" [Hvad laver han dog dernede?] " Nu skal man jo ikke male bål og brand på muren"  Bare to af mange hørt på P1 i dag.....

 Men der er andre brug af ord, som undrer mig, især når det er journalister som bruger dem: Hvis jeg slår min nabo ihjel, er jeg en gerningsmand eller drabsmand, men hvis min nabo var tidligere komunalpolitiker er jeg så terrorist? 

Da Radioavisen idag bragte nyheden om drabet på en tidligere politiker i Spanien, valgte den udsendte korrespondent konsekvent at bruge ordet "terrorist" om gerningsmanden... "Der stod en terrorist udenfor døren og ventede på ham" "Terroristen skød ham to gange ind i hovedet" (Ja, det er dårligt dansk, men det var også en yngre dansk journalist ! -Nå, der fik jeg lige dén ud mellem sidebenene!) - Men dette bliver sagt før at ETA (Og ETA er en terrororganisation!) har taget mordet på sig, dette er før man egentlig ved hvad der er sket, jeg mener; journalisten sad i Madrid og drabet sker i San Sebastian flere hundrede kilometer derfra... 

 Hvad er det som definerer en  'terrorist' i dag? Det er jo ikke handlingen i sig selv, men motivationen bag, som definerer ? - Hvis det er religiøst/politisk betinget er det altså ikke længere "En gal/forvirret/kynisk etc mands værk"  men en terrorists ditto ? -Eller kan man ligefrem sætten en dato for hvornår det ord skiftede mening ? d.11.9. 2001 f.eks? 

I 1981 mislykkedes et attentat på Paven i Rom. Attentatmanden blev i medierne betegnet som"en tyrkisk morder" indtil han var blevet behørigt afhørt. Så blev han sat i forb. med KGB og den bulgarske efterretningstjeneste, men det blev han heller ikke terrorist af! For på intet tidspunkt blev han kaldt andet end assasin/morder/drabsmand etc ! Så det har altså alligevel ikke noget med motivationen bag handlingen, men tiden vi lever i -
